Lisha, living in a small village, was crazy about cricket since childhood. While playing in the streets of the village, she held the bat for the first time and as soon as she held it, she realized that she was made for this game. Childhood Struggle: Lisha’s father was a farmer and did not have much money and resources. However, he always encouraged Lisha. When Lisha turned 14, she heard that a new cricket academy had opened in a nearby town. She begged her father to let her go there. Lisha’s father happily paid for Lisha’s academy fees from his savings to fulfill his daughter’s dream.

After a brilliant performance at the state level, Lisha got a chance to trial for the national women’s cricket team which was like a dream for her. This was like a dream for him. In the trials, he impressed the selectors with his batting and bowling and got a place in the team.
While playing her first international match, her father’s words were echoing in Lisha’s heart, “Dream and work hard.” He performed brilliantly in that match and won the man of the match title.
