Shri Nand Nandanashtakam: श्री कृष्ण की महिमा का भक्तिपूर्ण स्तोत्र (Sanskrit, Hindi & English)

श्री नंदनंदन स्तोत्र (Shri Nand Nandanashtakam) – जो व्यक्ति नित्य इस पवित्र स्तोत्र का पाठ करता है, उसके समस्त कष्ट और क्लेश दूर हो जाते हैं। इसके नियमित पाठ से भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की दिव्य छवि उसके नेत्रों के समक्ष प्रकट हो जाती है, और उसे अनंत शांति और आशीर्वाद की प्राप्ति होती है।

(1) sucāru-vaktra-maṇḍalaḿ sukarṇa-ratna-kuṇḍalam
sucarcitāńga-candanaḿ namāmi nanda-nandanam

सुचारू वक्त्र मंडलम , सुकर्ण रत्न कुण्डलं
सुचर्चितांग चन्दनं , नमामि नन्द नन्दनं

The round face of Lord Krishna is so very lovely, and the precious kundals adorning his ears so attractive. His body smeared with the paste of sandalwood is beautifully scented. We bow to Lord Krishna, the illustrious son of Nanda.

(2) sudīrgha-netra-pańkajaḿ śikhi-śikhaṇḍa-mūrdhajam
anańga-koṭi-mohanaḿ namāmi nanda-nandanam

सुदीर्घ नेत्र पंकजम , शिखी शिखण्ड मूर्धजम
अनंग कोटि मोहनं , नमामि नन्द नन्दनं

Lord Sri Krishna has large lotus-like eyes. His head is decked with feathers of a peacock’s tail.Krishna enchants the whole world as millions of devotees are ardently drawn to him. We bow to Lord Krishna, the joyous son of Nanda.

(3) sunāsikāgra-mauktikaḿ svacchanda-danta-pańktikam
navāmbudāńga-cikkaṇaḿ namāmi nanda-nandanam

सुनासिकाग्र मौक्तिकं , स्वच्छ दन्त पंक्तिकम
नवंबुदान्ग चिक्कणं , नमामि नन्द नन्दनं

Lord Krishna, the tip of whose nose glistens with a beautiful pearl and whose line of teeth is sparkling white. His cheeks are so very smooth and He is the true Lord of the Universe. We bow to Lord Krishna, the illustrious son of Nanda.

(4) kareṇa veṇu-rañjitaḿ gati-karīndra-gañjitam
dukūla-pīta-śobhanaḿ namāmi nanda-nandanam

करेण वेणु रंजितम, गति करीन्द्र गंजितम
दुकूल पीत सुशोभनम , नमामि नन्द नन्दनं

Krishna holds the delightful flute in His hands. His gait is graceful like an elephant’s and He is dressed in yellow silk garments which are most becoming.We bow to Lord Krishna, the illustrious son of Nanda.

(5) tri-bhańga-deha-sundaraḿ nakha-dyuti-sudhākaram
amūlya-ratna-bhūṣaṇaḿ namāmi nanda-nandanam

त्रिभंग देह सुन्दरम , नखाद्युति सुधाकरम
अमूल्य रत्न भूषणं , नमामि नन्द नन्दनं

Lord Krishna is depicted playing the flute in the tribhang mudra with bent legs, hips and neck. His nails shine like moonbeams and He is decked with priceless ornaments studded with precious stones. We bow to Lord Krishna, the delightful son of Nanda.

(6) sugandha-ańga-saurabham uro-virāji-kaustubham
sphurac-chrīvatsa-lāñchanaḿ namāmi nanda-nandanam

सुगंध अंग सौरभं , उरो विराजित कौस्तुभं
स्फ़ुर्त्छ्रि वत्स लान्छ्नं , नमामि नन्द नन्दनं

The fragrant limbs of Lord Krishna exude a certain fragrance. The kaustubh mani is resplendent on His chest whereas the radiant pearl glistens on his nose. We bow to the beautiful son of Nanda.

(7) vṛndāvana-sunāgaraḿ vilāsānuga-vāsasam
surendra-garva-mocanaḿ namāmi nanda-nandanam

वृन्दावन सुनागरम, विलासुनाग वाससम
सुरेन्द्र गर्व मोचनं , नमामि नन्द नन्दनं

Lord Krishna is the star attraction of Vrindavan with every action of His being so very majestic. He lifted mount Goverdhan Mighty Krishna Triumphs over Indra and triumphed over the ego of Indra. We bow to Lord Krishna, the valiant son of Nanda.

(8) vrajāńganā-sunāyakaḿ sadā sukha-pradāyakam
jagan-manaḥ pralobhanaḿ namāmi nanda-nandanam

व्रजांगना सुनायकं , सदा सुख प्रदायकम
जगन्मनः प्रलोभनं , नमामि नन्द नन्दनं

The gopis of Vraja adulate dark-hued Krishna as their saviour. He bestows eternal joy on hungering devotees of the entire world who are invariably drawn to Him. We bow to Lord Krishna, the enchanting son of Nanda.
